Man rushed to hospital following knife attack in Dublin city centre

Man arrested 39 deaths

A pair of men were chased on foot by the attackers.

Gardaí at Store St are investigating an incident which occurred in Dublin City centre at approximately 5am this morning.

It is understood from initial investigations that a car was rammed by another car at the Customs House. The two male passengers from the rammed car fled the scene on foot and were followed by a number of men from the car who rammed them.

The male passenger in his 30s received a number of injuries having been assaulted at Custom House Plaza, while the driver of the car was uninjured.

The injured man is receiving treatment at the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, his injuries are non-life threatening.

It’s not yet known if the occupants of the cars are known to each other.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
