Homenews

Just when you thought you’d seen the back of weather warnings for a while, another one arrives.

Met Éireann have issued a status yellow weather warning for all of Ireland ahead of what is likely to be a bitterly cold night on Thursday. While conditions have improved since one of the most severe weather events in recent memory last week, temperatures haven’t increased by all that much and they’re going to drop well below freezing again tonight. https://twitter.com/MetEire_Warning/status/971714692048703488 Met Éireann say that lowest temperatures are expected to fall to between zero and -3 degrees generally, but may fall locally to -4 degrees with a widespread sharp frost. The warning was issued at 11am on Thursday morning and will come into effect just after midnight until 8am on Friday morning. Wrap up warm, tonight is going to be a cold one.
