Tragic news out of Strasbourg this evening.
At least one person has been killed and a number of others have been wounded following a shooting incident in Strasbourg, officials have said. According to CNN, a spokesperson said that at least one person has been killed following the attack, and that several people are injured after gunshots were fired in the center of the northeastern French city of Strasbourg on Tuesday evening. The same spokesperson could not confirm the exact location of the shooting, and said the shooter has not been "neutralised" yet. According to Reuters, one local shopkeeper said: "There were gun shots and people running everywhere. It lasted about 10 minutes." A French Police account have tweeted a statement saying there was an "ongoing situation in Strasbourg" and called for calm.
