Survey reveals that Dublin is one of the most expensive cities in the world for a beer

The Irish capital ranks in the 25 most expensive in the world

Imagine our outrage.

It’s well known that that Temple Bar is quite an expensive place to go drinking, but it seems that it’s not the only place in Dublin where a few pints will hit your wallet.

According to a survey by the GoEuro Beer Price Index, Dublin is one of the 25 most expensive places in the world to buy a beer with a 33cl cold one costing you a rather costly €5.72. That’s not even a pint…

Now while we’re obviously not happy about this, we can take solace in the fact that at least we don’t live in Geneva, where a 33cl pint will take a pretty €9.89 from your bank account.

Don’t worry, we’re going to tell you where you can buy the cheapest one so relax.

Anyone looking for a weekend away should look up Krakow in Poland, where you will be able to check out the beautiful sights the city has to offer before settling down for a few brews for just €2.47.

We’re imagining a massive Irish evacuation to Poland right now.
