The Army's bomb disposal unit was called to the scene.

A number of residents in Kimmage, Dublin have been evacuated from their homes after a suspicious device was discovered on Tuesday afternoon. According to Gardaí, the device was located in the garden of a house on the Durrow Road at approximately 3.30pm. The area has been sealed off and the Army Explosion Ordinance Disposal unit has been called in.
