Homenews

It appears that water is very much not under the bridge.

TD Paul Murphy is to appear before the Criminal Court of Justice on November 2 over the infamous Irish Water protest in Jobstown. The summons was issued after the Tánaiste Joan Burton was allegedly falsely imprisoned in her vehicle for a number of hours during the protest. There has already been over 20 people charged in connection with the incident, and now TD Paul Murphy has been called to court. The whole affair has not deterred Murphy, with the Deputy planning “a big protest” for Saturday.
