A man has been airlifted to hospital after a tractor crash in Clare left him seriously injured.
In a statement to JOE, a Garda spokesperson said the collision occurred in Scariff on Wednesday (10 August) at around 5.30pm.
The tractor turned on its side while travelling on the R461.
The male driver of the vehicle was then taken to the Mater Hospital in Dublin by air ambulance where his condition is described as serious.
Multiple reports state that the man is aged in his late teens.
Gardaí in Killaloe are appealing to anyone who may have information in relation to the incident to contact them on 061 620 540.
They added that investigations into the crash are ongoing.
