Gardaí have made an arrest in the case.
An 18 year old man was arrested today, Thursday July 5th 2018 in connection with the investigation into the murder of Cameron Reilly and conveyed to Drogheda Garda station, according to a statement from An Garda Síochána.
The man will appear before Drogheda District court tomorrow morning Friday 6th July 2018 at 10am.
The teenager has not been publicly named.
Gardaí have been investigating the case since Reilly’s body was found on the Ardee Road, Dunleer, Co. Louth on Saturday May 26.
At the time of his death, Reilly had just finished his first year of hospitality studies at the Dundalk Institute of Technology.
