A male motorcyclist, aged 17, has died following a collision with a bus in Dublin on Sunday evening (23 August).
Gardaí in Finglas are investigating the fatal road traffic collision, which occurred at the junction of the R122 and the R108 St. Margaret’s, Road in Finglas, Dublin 11, at approximately 7.50pm on Sunday evening.
The motorcyclist was fatally injured when there was a collision between the motorbike he was driving and a bus.
The body of the deceased has been removed from the scene and a post-mortem will take place.
The male bus driver (aged 50) was uninjured but treated for shock at the scene.
The Garda Collision Investigators have conducted their investigation and the road has now reopened.
