Ten people, including eight children, hospitalised following school bus crash in Donegal
A collision between a van and a school bus occurred on Thursday morning.

Thankfully, nobody was seriously injured as a result.

Eight schoolchildren were amongst ten people injured as a result of a collision between a school bus and a van on Thursday morning.

The collision occurred at approximately 8am on the R265 at Carrickmore, Letterkenny.

The drivers of both vehicles and eight children have been brought to Letterkenny University Hospital with what have been described as minor injuries.

Gardaí are currently investigating the incident and the road remains closed; Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 9167100.
