All Tesco, Dunnes Stores and Lidl outlets in Ireland will be closed to customers from Thursday afternoon until Friday afternoon after
a red weather warning was extended to the entire country on Wednesday night.
On Thursday, Dunnes Stores revealed that all stores in Ireland and Northern Ireland will be closed on Thursday and will not reopen until 1pm on Friday, subject to the weather having improved by Friday afternoon.

Tesco Ireland, meanwhile, have announced that all stores will close at 2pm on Thursday until 1pm on Friday, weather permitting, while Lidl stores will be open until 3pm and will then close until Friday afternoon.

Aldi have also announced that all 130 Irish stores will close at 1pm on Thursday and re-open at 5pm on Friday.
