Tesco has been forced to recall one of its cheeses

Customers are being asked to return the product.

Tesco has recalled one of its cheeses as a precautionary measure amid fears that it might contain Listeria. The product in question is Tesco Cheeses of Ireland Wicklow Blue 120g with the following use by dates, 23/02/2017 and 25/02/2017. The Food Safety of Ireland has said:

"As a precautionary measure, Tesco is recalling the above batches of Tesco Cheeses of Ireland Wicklow Blue, due to the possible presence of Listeria monocytogenes. Tesco is issuing point of sale recall notices requesting customers who have bought an implicated batch to return it to their store."
