Separate incidents of customers finding pain relief tablets in their ice cream cones has caused the retailer to withdraw the product from shelves
Tesco have either come up with a brilliant solution for brain freeze or made quite a big error after two separate customers found painkiller tablets in their ice cream cones.
According to The Irish Times, Tesco are investigating what went wrong with their supplier in order to try and resolve the problem, but are encouraging customers who have bought their own brand chocolate and nut ice cream cones to return them to their local store and not to eat them.
The batches that could be affected have a best before date of up to July 2014, and thankfully no one has reported any illness yet as a result of the mix up.
