Careful out there folks.
The arrival of snow is a rare and wonderful thing in Ireland and there was plenty of excitement in the parts of the country that experienced the first snowfall of 2015 yesterday and last night.
From a practical point of view, however, it’s far from ideal and the white stuff, as well as the freezing temperatures, has had an effect on roads and on public transport services throughout Ireland overnight.

If you do have to get behind the wheel this morning, make sure to proceed with extreme caution and if you’re taking public transport, it’s worth checking with the relevant service provider to ensure that there are no disruptions before you travel.
Stay safe guys.
