The pay proposals have been rejected.

The Luas strikes scheduled for Easter Sunday (March 27) and Easter Monday (March 28) will go ahead, after drivers rejected the pay proposals. https://twitter.com/rtenews/status/713046706041057281 According to RTÉ, staff have turned down a pay rise which works out at an 18% increase over less than three years. Discussions have been taking place between Transdev - the Luas operator - and Siptu in the Workplace Relations Commission, but no agreement has been reached, as yet. Thousands of people are set to be impacted over the Easter weekend, with the dispute likely to continue for some time.
