The end of an era, as Playboy plan to stop publishing naked images of women

Hugh Hefner’s empire is changing course.

The 63-year-old magazine will no longer do what it’s famous for – publish naked images of women.

Twenty years ago, the horny world would have been in uproar with such news, but Playboy’s new chief content editor has been justifying the decision.

“You’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it’s just passe at this juncture,” said Cory Jones, who was appointed in July.

He then hilariously added: “Don’t get me wrong. Twelve-year-old me is very disappointed in current me. But it’s the right thing to do.”

According to irishmirror.ie, the plan is to focus more on alcohol coverage and sex columns.

Playboy in America now operates at a loss, with the magazine kept in business thanks to global sales.
