Residents of Colorado are still trying to come to terms with some of the worst floods they have ever experienced and the situation is summed up in the Greeley Tribune’s harrowing front page today.
According to Reuters, the floods have caused for the deaths of at least four people and approximately 250 more are unaccounted for as a result of torrential and persistent rain, causing floods which have toppled buildings, washed out roads and devastated farming lands.
Pictures of the damage the flooding has caused highlight the desperation of the situation, which was further illustrated in a rather bleak looking front page on the Greeley Tribune today; Greeley is a town with a population of just under 100,000 people and is located approximately 50 miles to the north of Denver.
It could take months before life returns to normal in #Greeley and other Weld County towns. http://t.co/Y01q6gBq1w pic.twitter.com/sUwpOE6QEf
