The Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa in Wicklow has been named as the AA's Hotel of the Year for 2015/16.
The hotel's General Manager David Webster accepted the award from Minister of State for Tourism and Sport Michael Ring last night.
The five-star hotel came out on top after various anonymous visit where hospitality, service, cuisine, facilities and staff are all assessed.
