The hero of the hour has provided us with the best selfie we’ve seen for a long, long time.

John O’Shea has always been beloved by Irish fans but after his last-minute equaliser against Germany in Gelsenkirchen on the occasion of his 100^th cap last night, his stock is at an all-time high right now.

And if we didn’t already love him enough, he only went and provided us with a deadly selfie taken on board the Ireland team plane on the way home last night.
