Forbes have published their list of the celebrities under 30 who are making piles of cash, so here are the top young earners
Lady Gaga comes out on top of the list, and when looking at the top 10, it’s totally dominated by the fairer sex. Gaga could well have made $200 million had she not had to pull out of her tour due to undergoing hip surgery earlier this year, according to the folks at Forbes, but she still hauled in a respectable $80 million.
Justin Bieber comes in second, as he’s made $58 million in the last year, while Taylor Swift (who had to turn down a date from a creepy guy this week) made $55 and sits in third. The lovely Katy Perry also makes an appearance in the list too, so here’s a picture of her in case you forget what she looks like:
A surprise entry is DJ Calvin Harris, who’s really pulling in the dosh with all those catchy tunes, and probably not doing too bad from his touring either, as he made $46 million. That makes for a pretty healthy bank balance.
The lovely Jennifer Lawrence is in there too, thanks to the success of the Hunger Games, and having pulled in $26 million last year, we’re beginning to think that if we ever meet her, we should ask her to get us a drink instead of the other way round. We know she’s got the cash now.

The list is almost all women (us lads aren’t concentrating hard enough on making the big bucks, obviously) and they’re mostly musicians. Between the recession and all the piracy sure isn’t it a wonder they have two pennies to rub together, eh?
