The weather forecast suggests summer’s not quite over yet

Carl Kinsella

It hasn’t quite been a summer to remember, but at least we’ve had more than our average one day of sunshine…

There’s good news from Met Éireann this Sunday morning though, as it turns out we can expect summery weather this week.

Accord to Met Éireann, Monday “will be a bright day with a mixture of sunshine and cloud. And becoming fairly warm also with highs of 18 to 21.”

Tuesday will be warm, breezy, generally dry and sunny. Highest temperatures should reach 22 degrees. Wednesday is expected to be a bit wetter, particularly in the morning – but the rain will clear and temperatures will settle at 17 to 20 degrees.

Thursday will see a return to form with temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees.

That’ll do, Ireland. That’ll do.
