There’s an event in Dublin tonight to show ‘solidarity and sympathy’ with Orlando victims

GLEN will hold an event in Dublin on Monday evening to show sympathy and solidarity with the victims of Sunday’s mass shooting in Orlando.

The Gay and Lesbian Equality Network (GLEN) will hold an event at 6.45pm beside City Hall on Dublin’s Dame Street on Monday evening.

‘We are all deeply saddened, shocked and horrified by the events in Orlando today,’ the post states.

‘Our hearts are with our LGBT family in Orlando. Please join GLEN – GAY AND LESBIAN EQUALITY NETWORK, BeLonG To Youth Services and Transgender Equality Network Ireland in Bernardo’s Square (beside City Hall on Dame Street, Dublin 2) at 6.45pm tomorrow, Monday, evening for a silent expression of our solidarity and sympathy with all those affected and bereaved by the tragedy.

‘Please bring just your rainbow flags or emblems.
