Well worth it.

It’s all for a good cause…

If you’re passing a Topaz store this weekend and are feeling a little peckish, we urge you to call in and grab yourself a pastry, because it’s a for a good cause.

That’s because, for the Bank Holiday weekend, Topaz will be donating 50c to charity from every ‘Add a pastry for €1’ offer in their retail outlets.

The money will be donated to the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation from Saturday August 5 until Monday August 7.

Topaz has so far raised €200,000 for Jack & Jill through various campaigns, as part of a three-year commitment to raise €400,000 for the vital children’s charity

The tea parties will be taking place in: Topaz’s Carlow M9 service station; Topaz Cashel, Tipperary; Topaz Ballacolla, Laois; Topaz Kill, Kildare; Topaz Clonshaugh, Dublin; Topaz Ballysimon, Limerick, Topaz City Avenue, Dublin; and Topaz Tuam, Galway.

The Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation provides direct support for families of children up to the age of four years old suffering from severe intellectual and physical developmental delay as a result of brain damage, enabling them to purchase home nursing and respite care.

Speaking on the announcement, Hugo Jellett, CEO of the Jack & Jill Children’s Foundation said: “With our 20th Anniversary celebrations in full swing, we are delighted to be raising a teacup with Topaz, and would like to thank them for their continued support for us in this partnership.”
