An Irish EuroMillions player has started the Bank Holiday weekend in style after scooping up €1 million.
The prize was guaranteed for one lucky winner during the Ireland Only Raffle draw as the EuroMillions numbers were announced.
The jackpot for the main draw was worth a staggering €75 million, and there were thousands of people hoping to win the top prize.
The lucky numbers in the main draw were 17, 18, 24, 29, 40 and the lucky stars were 4 and 5.
Meanwhile, the winning digits in the EuroMillions Plus draw were 3, 13, 18, 22 and 35.
Elsewhere in the draw, one person is going to kickstart the Bank Holiday weekend with a huge celebration after scooping up €1 million in the Ireland Only Raffle.
One of the numbers drawn in the Ireland Only Raffle will belong to the lucky winner – though they haven’t specified which one yet.
