These new statistics prove just how much Irish people need their coffee

We need it to live

Carl Kinsella

Are you reading this while drinking a coffee?

Apparently, one-in-five Irish people say that they can’t get through 24 hours without a cup of coffee.

In that case, it’s not too surprising that most Irish people never let themselves go that long without several cups, with 67% of respondents to the Office Depot/Viking survey reporting that they drink two-to-four cups a day.

One-in-ten people somehow glug down five-to-seven mugs of the black stuff a day.

THOR COFFEE

51% of people surveyed prefer the espress-plus-hot-water combination, ahead of the latté (25%), cappuccino (19%) and espresso (12%).

19% of Irish workers describe the coffee in their workplace as excellent, with 17% describing their workplace cuppa as ‘terrible’.

We can confirm that we here at JOE make one hell of a mug, in case anybody was wondering.
