Thief breaks into bizarre dance to distract victims while stealing their Rolex
UK police have said the perpetrator has "danced his last tango" after being caught in the act.
Police in the UK have shared footage of a thief breaking into a bizzare dance to distract victims while robbing their watches.
The thief took the term smooth criminal to a whole new level by literally attempting to dance his way into securing the woman's watch - and suprisingly enough, it actually worked.
While his dance moves may leave a lot to be desired, the man did manage to slip the woman's Rolex off of her arm. The Rolex watch is valued at roughly £9k pounds, according to West Midlands Police.
He then attempted to also secure the watch of her partner, however, it got caught in the man's cuff, preventing him from slyly grabbing both watches.
West Midlands Police said in a statement on Thursday that the thief has now "enjoyed his last tango" after being caught in the act in Birmingham city centre.
Police officers "mingled with revellers" at the scene before spotting and arresting the suspect.
Police added that the man, Abdelhadi Bahou-Jabour, admitted to the robbery and will be sentenced at a later date.
