This early-morning Galway pic is simply stunning

Riiiight, so THAT'S how you use a camera...

JOE

The country may have been battered and bruised by winds and rain for the past week, but one photographer took advantage of a beautiful brief moment of dry weather to capture this incredible image.

We’re sure that, just like JOE, there are many of you out there who’s ‘good Christmas clothes’ are still drying from the absolute drenching they received while waiting for one of many, many taxis over the Christmas break.

Not Conor Ledwidth though. The talented Irish photographer had the genius idea to go outside when it was actually dry and, while doing so, managed to take the brilliant early-morning picture you see below. Sure, it may have been at 4am, but it was so, so worth it.

As the man himself writes, “With all the wet weather we have got in the recent past, it was fantastic to see a clear sky… Taken at 4am (when all reasonable folks were in their beds …lol) near Headford, Galway.”
