According to research undertaken by Europcar Ireland, 77% of visitors to Ireland would come back. Of the people surveyed, 55% were already on their second visit.

The data released by Europcar contained a lot of interesting information on the habits of those who holiday in Ireland. Dublin is the most popular holiday-destination, followed by Galway and Cork.

Dublin also took the most prestigious prize for ‘best pub atmosphere’, followed by Galway with Kerry in third place.

A quarter of all visitors to Ireland are travelling from the United Kingdom, whereas one in six are coming from America.
