Three Irish hotels named in the top 10 hotels in Europe

Great news…

Tourism is one of the biggest industries in Ireland with 6.55 million people visiting Ireland in the period of January to August this year alone.

Naturally, our facilities for catering for all these visitors is top notch and this is reflected in the Condé Nast Traveler list of top 10 hotels in Europe.

Ireland is strongly represented on the list with three hotels making the cut, and it’s good news for Ballyfin Demesne in Laois which took top spot.

The Laois hotel beat off competition from the Summer Lodge Country House in Evershot, England to claim the top prize.

But elsewhere there was good news for Irish hotels as Waterford Castle in Waterford and The Lodge Ashford Castle in Mayo ranking in third and fourth on the list respectively.
