The Bus Éireann service was involved in a serious accident involving another vehicle.
Three people have been hospitalized following a bus crash in Donegal.
A Bus Éireann service carrying 13 passengers was been involved in a serious accident shortly before 10am this morning.
The incident occurred between Manorcunningham and Newtown Cunningham close to Magherabeg National School.
Bus Éireann confirmed that the coach was travelling Route 64 from Sligo to Derry, and that they are now investigating the cause of the crash.
A number of people are reported to have suffered injuries, with three people having been brought to Letterkenny University Hospital as a precaution after the incident
Gardaí, ambulances and the fire service all attended the scene.
Bus Éireann has said the safety of passengers, staff and the public is of paramount importance and thanked Gardaí and emergency services for their swift response.
The bus is thought to have careered through a hedge and into a field following the collision with the car.
