Tributes paid to Belfast social media star ‘Chazzy Shankill’ after she passes away aged 33

Tributes have been pouring in online after it was confirmed that Belfast social media star known as Chazzy Shankill has passed away aged 33.

Chantelle Louise Mullan, who had amassed thousands of social media followers, passed away suddenly earlier this week, according to the Belfast Telegraph.

Confirming the news, Chantelle’s sister Shannon Mullan, wrote on Facebook: “This all just feels like a big nightmare, my heart is so sore.

I don’t know how I’ll ever overcome this. You weren’t only my sister, you were my best friend. Your no longer in pain. Rest in peace. Forever 33 sis.”

Belfast homeless charity Hope Harbour was among those to post tributes online to Chantelle, saying: “May Chantelle rest in eternal peace and be at peace. Thoughts and prayers are with Chantelle’s family and friends.”

Commenteres on Chantelle’s social media posts have been mourning the death, saying she was ‘one in a million’.

On Tuesday, Chantelle’s sister also posted to thank social media for the well wishes, saying: “On behalf of the Mullan family we want to thank each and everyone for there kind words messages phone calls etc on the loss of Chantelle Louise Mullan.

“She was a mother, daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter and cousin who we will all missed dearly. We wish to keep our home private when she arrives to rest before her final resting place.”
