Tributes paid to homeless man found dead in recycling facility

Andrew Haire's body was found in Clondalkin on Friday night.

The Office of the Chief State Pathologist and the Garda National Technical Bureau were notified and the body of Mr. Haire was removed from the scene. 

A post-mortem examination has since been conducted with an Incident Room established at Lucan Garda Station. 

Greyhound recycling, who run the facility said on Monday: "We were deeply saddened by the death of Mr Andrew Haire, whose body was found at our recycling facility in Clondalkin on the evening of Friday 24 July. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. We are cooperating fully with An Garda Síochána and will continue to give their investigation every assistance."

A Family Liaison Officer has been appointed to assist Andrew's family.

Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in establishing his movements between Friday 17th July and Friday 24th July.

It is believed that Haire was in Dublin, Kilkenny and Cork city centres during this time.
