What did you make of that?
The leaders of the four biggest parties in the country – Gerry Adams, Enda Kenny, Micheál Martin and Joan Burton – took part in the final Leaders’ Debate tonight.
They talked about housing, mental health (briefly), climate change, rural broadband and regrets but we didn’t get any solid answers or policy insights from any of the candidates.
Here’s how the people of Ireland reacted on Twitter.

"So what's your biggest regret?"
Template answer. "Let me tell you my achievements and say I regret not doing it earlier!" #leadersdebate

I am enjoying various party supporters clarifying the shocking news that their leader obviously won. Very useful, that. #leadersdebate

My only regret was subjecting my unfortunate ears to the shrill of Joan Burtons voice. Poor judgement on my part. #leadersdebate

Well, Gerry waffled, Joan shrieked, Enda was invisible, and Michael was a solid debater and actually answered the questions #leadersdebate
