The two pedestrians were injured in a road collision this morning.
Two boys have been rushed to hospital following a road traffic collision in Co. Waterford.
The crash happened in St. John’s Park at around 8.45am this morning (Friday, 13 September) and involved a car and two pedestrians, a Garda spokesperson confirmed.
“The pedestrians, two male children, have been conveyed to University Hospital Waterford for treatment of their injuries,” their statement also read.
It has not been confirmed how severe the boys’ injuries are at this time.
“The road of the collision, off the R708, is closed at this time and Forensic Collision Investigators are at the scene,” the spokesperson added.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
