59-year-old Oliver Murray died in the fire.
An Garda Síochána have arrested two men in connection with a fatal house fire in Cavan last year.
The fire has now been upgraded to a homicide investigation.
Gardaí arrested a 37-year-old and 51-year-old man in relation to the incident and they are being detained at Bailieborough Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Oliver Murray was killed in the house fire, which occurred in the early hours of 2 August, 2018.
