The two men were arrested on Saturday morning.
Two men have been arrested after an incident that saw a men left in serious condition following an aggravated burglary in Cork.
The man in question was doused in petrol and set on fire during the incident.
Gardaí investigating the aggravated burglary that occurred at a house in Lotamore, Cork in the early hours of 20 January, arrested the two men on Saturday morning.
Both men are believed to be in their 20s.
The two men were arrested by detective Gardaí from Mayfield Garda Station.
They are currently detained at Gurranabraher and Mayfield Garda Stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
Investigations are ongoing.
