Gardaí in Wicklow are investigating following a fatal road traffic accident collision that took place at Silverbridge in Bray on Tuesday.
A two-year-old boy was fatally injured when he was struck by a car at approximately half four in the afternoon.
The boy was rushed to Crumlin Children's Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the car was uninjured.
In Wicklow, the scene has been sealed off and the area is due to be examined by Garda Forensic collision investigators on Wednesday morning.
