Many colleges in Red level threat zones had announced their decision to keep their doors closed on Monday October 16 while Hurricane Ophelia passes.
Since our initial report, several more colleges have decided to suspend studies for the day.
Limerick IT announced that all of its campuses would be closed tomorrow.

IT Carlow will close its campus in Summerhill, Co. Wexford — but its campuses in Carlow and Wicklow will continue operations as normal.

Letterkenny IT has not announced any closure measures on Twitter.
