The company will be more than doubling its workforce in the capital.

Fast-growing US software company Qualtrics is set to create 350 jobs at its Dublin hub, a move that will more than double its Irish workforce.

The company is a privately held experience management company which designs software for the collection and analysis of data. It was first set up in 2002 and opened its Dublin office in 2013.

According to its website, Qualtrics “is the world’s first experience management platform, designed to allow you to gather, analyse and act on your core business data”.

“If the data you need exists, you Google it. If it doesn’t, you Qualtrics it,” said Ryan Smith, founder and CEO.

The company currently has 1,900 employees worldwide and is considered one of the fastest-growing tech companies internationally.

Their Irish branch oversees the company’s sales, engineering, support services and other operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

This new move will see the firm moving its European headquarters into a new building in Clarendon Row in Dublin, which will be ready for the 350 extra staff in 2020. The existing offices are at Earlsfort Terrace.

This will bring the number of people employed in Dublin from 250 to 600.

The new roles will be in areas across the board, from tech support to engineering, sales and HR.

Qualtrics CEO and co-founder Ryan Smith is in Dublin to make the announcement and to mark its fifth anniversary here.

“We now work with over 1,500 organisations in EMEA and the success and growth of our business here is a testament to the talent we have in Dublin,” he said.

“We are five years in, but we’re just getting started and by expanding our footprint, we expect to continue to grow at a rapid pace and create more jobs in Dublin in the years ahead.”
