The incident occurred as the Obama family was inside celebrating Thanksgiving.

A man draped in the American flag has scaled two fences to break into the White House during Thanksgiving. According to CNN, the individual accessed the highly prohibited area with relative ease, with the Obama family inside the White House, despite the recent addition and installment of metal spikes on the fences. The perpetrator, who was quickly reprimanded by the Secret Service, was carrying a white envelope, the contents of which still remain a mystery.
