Video: That’s gas! Pet hippopotamus bizarrely found wandering streets of Mexican town

This is hippopreposterous hippoposterous  really, really silly... We're not too sure of the exact context behind this particular piece of footage but, to be honest dear JOE reader, we don't really care – it's a giant pet hippo going for a stroll in the middle of Mexico. Enough said. According to a report in The Metro, the hippo was spotted in the Mexican town of Tlajomulco de Zuniga after its owner allowed it out to stretch its legs in the local park. Mexican police then surrounded the beast and herded it into its cage, while the man claiming to own the hippopotamus was subsequently arrested after he lacked the documentation to prove his ownership. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KKgu7zV1G1U Who knows why these things happen?
