Talk about dedication to your job…

Last week we featured a short clip that caught Japan’s Batman in action on a custom-made three-wheeled Batmobike. You can check it out over here. Well, recently, BBC News caught up with the man in question who goes by the name of ‘Chibatman’. Speaking to the BBC, Chibatman said he dresses up and drives around as the Dark Knight in order to make people smile, because according to the man himself, since the nuclear disaster at Fukushima in 2011 people have "forgotten how to smile". Fair play to Chibatman for wanting to bring smiles to the faces of the Japanese people, but we think BBC’s translator needs a shout out too for keeping in character like a pro.
