The students studying science at NUIG in Galway are probably eating chips and cheap pizza right now to help with their hangover because they had their ball last night.
We hope everyone had a wonderful night and no one did anything that’s going to make lectures awkward for the foreseeable future. There’s always one.
The students at the ball last night got a huge surprise at the start of the night when they were greeted by one of the nicest men on the planet (and off it).
Retired astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield, who is well known in these parts for his aerial photos of Ireland, had this message for the students in Galway.
