While out assessing damage to a fish farm in Bantry, Co. Cork, these two lads had a seriously close when a large wave knocked them to the ground
JOE reader Tom Nugent recently sent us in this video on Twitter and it shows us that no matter how well prepared your are for the weather, it will ALWAYS have the upper hand.
The two lads in the video, John Murphy and Jimmy Griffin, were out surveying damage to a fish farm located close to the shore when the large wave came from behind and knocked them over.
Thankfully, John and Jimmy managed to get up and brush themselves off before another large wave hit, but if the wave was any bigger then the situation could have ended a lot worse.
So just remember folks, you can never be too safe when it comes to bad weather…
