Video: Dennis Rodman goes off the head at CNN reporter on live TV during North Korea visit

We’re not yet sure whether or not Matt Cooper had anything to do with it.

We’re not yet sure whether or not Matt Cooper had anything to do with it.

Rodman, as you probably know by now, is in North Korea helping organise an exhibition game between a team of former NBA stars, including himself, and a team of North Korean players to celebrate the birthday of leader Kim Jong Un some time this week.

While he probably knew he would have to do some media promotion of the game, he probably didn’t expect an interrogation when appearing on CNN earlier today.

The former Chicago Bulls star was being interviewed by reporter Chris Cuomo on CNN about the motives behind his visit and the exhibition game when Cuomo brought up the case of Kenneth Bae, an American citizen sentenced to 15 years in prison last year for crimes against the state.

Rodman didn’t take kindly to Cuomo’s persistent line of questioning and flipped the lid, shouting “Do you understand what he (Bae) did in this country?” before going on to rant pretty unintelligibly, even interrupting the attempts of his entourage to intervene when they tried to spare his blushes.

If his visit wasn’t bizarre enough in the first place, then he has to go and do this. Mad stuff Ted.
