Several units of Galway Fire Brigade battled a fire at a business in Bohermore in the city last night.
The blaze occurred at Shannon Dry Cleaners on Prospect Hill and footage has emerged which shows the extent of the fire which had emergency services battling it until the early hours of this morning.
It’s understood that no one was injured in the incident which gutted the well-known property and Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire.
Crowds gathered as members of Galway Fire Brigade fought the flames and this footage was captured by onlooker Darragh Hulgraine.

The Connacht Tribune also captured footage of the aftermath of the fire that shows the extent of the damage to the property.
