Officials say that no more hostages are being held by gunmen at the Radisson Blu hotel in Bamako.

At least 18 people have been confirmed dead, but there are reports that as many as 27 people have lost their lives after gunmen entered the hotel and held 170 people hostage.

Earlier, a number of hostages were reportedly freed after successfully reciting verses of the Koran, while a number of Turkish Airline workers at the hotel also managed to escape.

Footage has surfaced of some of the hostages – some of whom are wounded – being evacuated from the hotel this afternoon.
