And they say romance is dead…
In Mexico recently, one very considerate young man was carrying his girlfriend through the rain and flooded streets so that she wouldn’t have to deal with whatever might be floating around in the water.
An absolute gentleman, of course. However, his plan came a little bit undone as it seems the flooding was so intense that it had filled in and disguised a giant pot hole that he didn’t know about.
With his girlfriend in his arms and looking like the hero from some romantic novel, the whole thing falls apart as he steps into the hole and drops down up to his neck, totally soaking his girlfriend, despite all his valiant efforts to keep her somewhat dry.
If we have one criticism, it would have to be that the guys inside the office filming this knew this was going to happen and didn’t say anything. Bad form lads.
