And you thought it was busy in Heuston Station of a Friday evening?
You’ve probably heard stories about how crazy it can get on public transport in China and some of you reading might even have experienced it for yourselves, but if you needed any proof then get a load of this.
The video above, which was posted on English language Chinese blog Beijing Cream, shows the incredible scenes at Xierqi subway station in the Chinese capital during the morning rush-hour recently. Safe to say you wouldn’t want to be in any way claustrophobic if you were to be even present at the station itself; nevermind actually trying to force your way onto an actual train.
While the video is an eye-opener by itself, the following photo, posted on Twitter by Joe Xu, further illustrates just how busy it can get at what must be one of the busiest transport hubs in the world.
