VIDEO: Look at the size of the crowd in Dublin for the anti-water charges protest today

A pre-election protest organised by The Right2Water / Right2Change group has taken place in Dublin today.

The large protest took place between Parnell Square and Dame Street causing traffic delays and road closures in the Capital. Thousands of people descended on the streets joined by some election candidates who oppose the water charges, including Sinn Féin's Gerry Adams and Independent candidate Mick Wallace. Speaking in the build up to the protest, Gerry Adams said: “The three amigos, Enda Kenny, Joan Burton and Micheál Martin havent delivered proper public services and a sustainable economy up to now and they’re not going to. They’ve had their chance."
